If your car is truly "restored" It feels like a new car. Many people will put a new coat of paint and some new tires / wheels on it and call it refurbished. A car has been restored to a new level of wheel parts, etc. If this is done correctly, is safe for many years. It is a shame, but driving a classic again every day. A normal car is good if you ride in the rain, wasting time, etc.
I have a 71 Firebird with most of its original parts (or, at least) very close. I ride every day, the weather is hot or if there is not much snow on the ground.
I would even say better restored. Under the assumption that the restoration has been recently by someone who knows what they will do.
I drive my '69 Camaro and its work .. almost every day and everywhere I go.
If you have any knowledge about cars, but I would not recommend because it is a small building .. can and what can be very expensive.
The new engine is running, should be as reliable as a new car ... with a style much better.
People who say no, never.
